Main crops and crop groups contributing to agricultural biomass production

Compare the amount of agricultural biomass (economic production and residues) produced by crop group and specific crop.

Explore the amount of biomass produced by crop group (cereals, sugar and starchy crops, oilseeds, etc.).

The graph shows annual average values in EU-28 over 2006-2015 for economic and residue production, expressed in Mt of dry matter.

The upper panel shows the breakdown of annual average EU-28 production of agricultural biomass by crop group, the lower panel each specific crop group.
