The Adaptation for Smallholder Agriculture Programme (ASAP) is a flagship programme within the International Fund for Agricultural Development’s (IFAD’s) portfolio of activities aimed at channelling climate and environmental finance to smallholder farmers, and which allows IFAD country programmes to design projects which integrate considerations of the impacts of climate change on smallholder farmers. To support the integration of climate information and improved knowledge of climate related risks to the smallholder agriculture sector, IFAD commissioned a Climate Risk Analysis to assess the potential impacts of climate change on several crops and commodities in Lesotho.
