The Binational Climate Change Adaption Project aims to strengthen the climate adaptation capacities of the the Awá Indigenous People and the Afro-descendant People communities on the border with Ecuador in the Nariño and Putumayo departments through community planning processes and capacity building integrating traditional and scientific knowledge for ecosystem management, ecological restoration, and climate bioindicators for early warning.
