Part 2.a (p. 11-12) provides an update on food inflation which has been dampened by low base and lower inflation in oils and vegetables, as shown on figure 2.12.

Part 2.d (p.19-21) provides an update on the different fiscal measures in place, in particular the extension of the food subsidy program until December 2022 to shield vulnerable populations from the impact of rising food prices.
Figure 2.32 shows that robust revenue growth has kept the fiscal deficit in check.

Part 4.a (p. 26-27) shows that the global economic environment has deteriorated following the war in Ukraine, which has led to renewed supply disruptions, and heightened uncertainty. In particular, prices of food, fertilizer and energy have soared due to constrained supply from Russia and Ukraine, as shown on figures 4.1 and 4.2.
