After graduating in environmental engineering, I started my career as an association officer at the European Biomass Industry Association, with a focus on dissemination tasks in EU-funded projects. Later on I furthered my professional experience in industrial associations and private companies. Some connecting threads through my CV are bioenergy and the policy framework which has an impact on its development; in fact, I have produced several analyses, news, position papers, presentations and information materials on those topics.
I joined the JRC on September 2022 to work within the Knowledge Center for Bioeconomy (dream) team. My role involves managing in-house and externally produced knowledge that is relevant to EU policy in the domain of the bioeconomy. The idea of making science more accessible and providing an evidence base to the EU policy framework is thrilling to me!
