Nicole Pfaller-Sadovsky, PhD, is a behavioral scientist specializing in human-dog interactions, animal welfare, and ethology. She completed her PhD in Biological Sciences at Queen's University Belfast and is currently a Visiting Scholar at the university's School of Biological Sciences. Additionally, she teaches applied ethology as an Adjunct Instructor at Virginia Tech.
Dr. Pfaller-Sadovsky founded Happy-Fellow® Coaching & Seminars in 2008, a business focused on positive-reinforcement based dog training. Her research interests include the development of evidence-based and welfare-centered interventions for dogs and their owners. She is also interested in conducting research on the potential impact of companion animals on climate change, as well as exploring possible mitigation strategies and the resulting interventions and policies.
