Supporting policy with scientific evidence

I am an award-winning writer and editor, who specialises in writing about scientific research so as to make it accessible and useful to non-specialists.

I began my career working in the UK Civil Service, as a speechwriter for the UK Science Minister and other policymakers. The discipline of writing about science in a policy context, with the need at the same time to be accurate, relevant and engaging, has been very useful to me subsequently.
