We mobilise people and resources to create, curate, make sense of and use knowledge to inform policymaking across Europe.
I am a PhD researcher in Transnational Governance at Scuola Normale Superiore, Florence (Italy).
My research focuses on the role of knowledge and learning in EU climate and energy governance. I am interested in exploring the relation between knowledge and influence in the context of the EU policy process and how policy actors interact in assembling policies, with a particular attention to the role of the European Commission.
Beyond the specific domain of climate and energy policies, I have also been working, for a few years now, on Euro-Mediterranean relations, EU external policies, and international migration.
My research, thus, taps into ongoing debates in the domain of EU studies as well as public policy and governance theories, exploring the theoretical underpinnings, everyday dynamics, and normative implications of 'making policies'.
