Alexis STEVENSON

Economic and Policy assistant,

I am currently working in the Directorate-General for Competition (DG COMP) of the European Commission in the unit of the Principal Adviser for ex post economic evaluation. Prior to my current position, I worked in the Directorate-General for Research and Innovation (DG RTD) in the Economic and Social Transitions Unit and as an economist at the French embassy in Helsinki, Finland.

I hold a joint PhD in Business Economics from KU Leuven, Belgium and Hanken School of Economics, Finland. I hold a Master's degree in "Economic Theory and Econometrics" from Toulouse School of Economics and I am a former trainee civil servant of Ecole Normale Supérieure Paris-Saclay (Department of Business and Economics).

My research interest lie in the fields of empirical industrial organization and economics of innovation.
