We mobilise people and resources to create, curate, make sense of and use knowledge to inform policymaking across Europe.
My current research deals with how humans react to advice from artificial intelligence for ethical decision making. I also research the impact of pay transparency on gender discrimination in the labor market, and innovations in digital food labeling.
I holds a Master in Management from HEC Paris, a PhD in Economics from the University of Toulouse, and a Habilitation in Economics from the University of Jena.
Prior to joining the Competence Centre on Behavioural Insights, I worked at the University of East Anglia in the UK and at the Universities of Jena and Göttingen in Germany.
My original focus was on the economics of the Internet. I studied open source software, e-commerce and social media. I then went on to research how consumer mistakes can be exploited by firms. I also worked on the impact of nudges and the determinants of individual privacy concerns.
