After two years of research, awareness-raising, engagement activities, the ‘Building Capacity for Evidence-Informed Policymaking in Governance and Public Administration in a Post-Pandemic Europe’ project has come to a close.
In the scope of the SG REFORM's Technical Support Instrument (TSI) program, seven EU Member States —Greece, Belgium, Czech Republic, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, and the Netherlands — supported by the Joint Research Centre and the OECD, worked to enhance the uptake of evidence-informed policymaking (EIPM) practices in their countries and strived to further develop their respective national EIPM ecosystems.
To summarise the work done in each country and outline the way forward for the EIPM agenda both nationally and at the EU level, several project outputs have been developed. You can consult them below:

Join us at the Final Conference
To mark the conclusion of this initiative, a final conference of the project will take place on 19 March 2025 in Brussels. The event will bring together policymakers, scientists, and knowledge brokers from across Europe to discuss the project’s findings and chart the way forward for EIPM in Europe. We invite you to explore the project’s key outputs and continue the conversation on advancing evidence-informed policymaking across the EU.
