Brief me
Supporting the Political Guidelines, this project will investigate the public and media discourse, disinformation, as well as people’s attitudes and perceptions towards migration and demographic change. It aims to provide a better understanding of people’s concerns as well as the perceptions of inequalities that test the cohesion of our societies. The project aims to increase situational awareness by detecting and analysing disinformation about migration and demography, and by developing tools to proactively detect and counter disinformation on migration and demography related topics. It supports Commission efforts to boost digital and media literacy and to increase our resilience to disinformation by developing pre-bunking strategies.
