The European Technology Transfer Offices (TTO) circle brings together the major 35 Research and Technology Organizations in Europe, including the Joint Research Centre.

          Since its conception, the TTO Circle has been contributing to boosting technology transfer and innovation in Europe by acting as a hub for exchange of best practices and collaboration among its members. It is also helping its members in exploiting their knowledge portfolios and in communicating with policymakers.

         Collectively the network represents 200.000 researchers and support staff, 35.000 patents and 4000 start-ups in Europe.

           To make a substantial contribution to Innovation and industrial policies and become a key reference for technology transfer and IP management in Europe and beyond.

Our Mission

Share expertise, exchange best practices in the field of technology transfer and IP management.

          Provide support to EU and national R&I and industrial policies, building on the members’ collective experience, in collaboration with EARTO.

     Foster joint collaborative actions between major European Research and Technology Organizations.

     Research and Technology Organizations play a fundamental role in the European innovation system, in cementing the European Research Area, and in the development of a European Innovation Area to support the scaling of companies, encourage innovation and stimulate cooperation among innovation actors.
