An Emerging Country is often judged from the lenses of a developed nation and in the case of ESG, it is no different. The D-ESG Ranking project is an initiative to bridge this gap and to create a metrics designed for rating Emerging Economies in all four aspects – Economic Growth, Environmental, Social, and Governance.
Societal impact:
Helping emerging markets to improve their ESG and hence achieve sustainable and inclusive growth
The goals are:
To create a framework for rating Emerging Countries for Economic Growth, Environment, Social, and Governance variables.
To measure a country’s progress while also taking into consideration where a country stands compared to its peer group.
To design a framework which is easy to use and transparent.
