The Health Promotion and Disease Prevention Knowledge Gateway  - an independent and up-to date reference point - has published a new brief in the series of Non-communicable diseases prevention: Lung cancer prevention. It adds to the earlier briefs on breast, colorectal and liver cancer prevention. This section provides also information concerning cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, hypertension and obesity prevention.
