It provides a step‑by‑step guideline for the practical application of formative research methodology in the development context. It is based on good practice and draws on specific learning from formative research conducted by World Food Programme (WFP) to support transformative school‑based programming in Colombia and Haiti.

El documento proporciona orientación paso a paso para la aplicación práctica de la metodología de investigación formativa en el contexto de programas de desarrollo, tomando como base las mejores prácticas y el aprendizaje específico de la investigación formativa realizada por el Programa Mundial de Alimentos (PMA) para apoyar programas escolares transformadores en Colombia y Haití.
