Policy Analyst,

Policy Analyst at the Competence Centre on Behavioural Insights (CCBI)

At the CCBI, we apply behavioural science to support effective and human-centric EU policymaking. Our team works on a wide range of policy areas and across the policy process from policy design to implementation, always with the aim to better understand human behaviour and what drives it.

My own research currently focuses primarily on two very different topics, namely supporting Member States in improving tax compliance and on different aspects of citizens’ emergency preparedness and response.

My background is in Economics with a PhD thesis on behavioural economics focusing on biases in political decision making as well as the use of behavioural insights in policy. I have also conducted and published research on other public choice and political economy topics.

Prior to joining the JRC, I worked at the Commission’s Directorate-General for Energy, first on energy wholesale markets and later on methane emissions.
