The Counterfactual Impact Evaluation (CIE) Summer Weeks are recurrent summer events hosted by the Competence Centre on Microeconomic Evaluation at the European Commission's Joint Research Centre (JRC) at the Ispra (VA) IT site.
CIE summer weeks provide an in-depth exploration of CIE methods, and they aim to equip policy officers and researchers with the basic knowledge of causal tools needed to effectively guide impact evaluations of public programs and interventions. They are designed to foster knowledge exchange and promote best practices in public program impact evaluation.
