Global Report on Nutrition

The Global Nutrition Report was conceived following the first Nutrition for Growth Initiative Summit (N4G) in 2013 as a mechanism for tracking the commitments made by governments, aid donors, civil society, the UN and businesses. The first of these annual reports was published in 2014. 

The Global Nutrition Reports describe the state of global nutrition including undernutrition, stunting, wasting, micronutrient deficiencies as well a overweight. It also displays the trends in nutrition in recent years and the progress aginst the Global nutrition target for 2025 adopted at the World Health Assembly in 2012 and 2013.

The Global Nutrition Report is a multi-stakeholder initiative, consisting of a Stakeholder Group, Independent Expert Group and Report Secretariat.
