How do global megatrends impact on the future of your policy issue or your work?

In this workshop, policymakers and other stakeholders are trained on anticipatory thinking and foresight using the Megatrends Engagement Tools.

This traninning is under development by the Joint Research Centre of the European Commission. Two pilots have been runned with colleagues from the General Secretariat of the Council.

At the end of the workshop participants will

  • Understand the advantages and limitations of megatrend analysis.
  • Be familiar with megatrends as formulated in the EC The Megatrends Hub Megatrends Hub.
  • Will be able to apply megatrends analysis to policy issues using the using the workshop format.
