The dashboard shows location of production plants of algae biomass categorised by species group and production system. It has been collated by the European Commission’s Joint Research Centre from published lists of producers, websites and reports, from meetings with stakeholders and expert consultation. The dashboard includes information about 413 enterprises in the European Union, United Kingdom, Norway, Iceland and Switzerland.
