This user guide aims to be a compact reference for the daily user to all aspects of the website.

Country report

The website offers a quick way to navigate and extract information on per country basis. You may visit the country list , where you can filter and select the desired Country, either by clicking on the links in the left or directly on the map on the right.

Overview

The Country report displays information about the selected country.

  1. An embedded tour/guide can display the key features of the page.
  2. An autocomplete list allows navigation to another country without changing page
  3. Key country statistics on the overview
  4. Protection overview
  5. Map pane of the country
  6. List of indicators grouped in tabs
  7. Last tab, allows printing all or a subset of indicators

Print Tab

Print tab allows to export the indicators in PDF format.

  1. Selected “Print tab” on the tabs list
  2. List of topics – indicator groups to load.
  3. Preview to print/export.
  4. Click to Print/Export.

Map navigation

Map navigation allows an easy overview of the whole dataset on per country basis.

  1. An embedded tour/guide can display the key features of the page.
  2. Layer list tab displaying currently loaded layers (Active), every layer available (“All”), groups of layers.
  3. Layer list per grouping
  4. Apply gradient color on per layer and per property value to easily visualise dataset values
  5. Legend
  6. Hover over a country (map feature) to display selected information
  7. Click on a country (map feature) to display more information
