DATAMI: a data tatami that restores our capacity to freely develop our expanding identities, but also a shelter and a refuge against the data deluge and digital transformation: ataraxia in a digital whirlwind, harbinger of a digital declaration of independence, constituent of the Magna Carta of the Web.

Resonances II

The Resonance investigates the rich territory of the meaning of Fairness and Fear. The selected exhibits touch upon five domains: society, economy, nature/environment, science and the cosmos. Often these domains morph into one another, society moving into economy and economy touching upon nature. Between these domains, they evince an intertwined world where borders fade away and society influences nature like art can influence science. Each artist follows his/her own specialty and concerns, ties them to the science s/he has learned, and elaborates her/his questions with a new urgency to the viewer.

Resonances I

This project has been organized by the JRC at the occasion of the Universal Exhibition EXPO 2015: Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life. The material has been deconstructed and reconstructed into a new narrative that evokes the transition of considering food as a mere scientific,
technical and commercial matter of fact to food seen as a social cultural and political matter of concern.
