NetCIEx Workshop 2023

The aim of this workshop is to bring together practitioners and academics to discuss developments in the theory and the applications of counterfactual impact evaluation (CIE) methods. Already-members of the NetCIEx network are invited to submit a paper for presentation, as well as current and former staff members of the CC-ME and individuals working in research and academic institutions with an interest in CIE. Between 10 and 20 papers will be selected for presentation.

On site: participants will need to register, and they will take care of their own travel and accommodation arrangements. CC-ME will take care of entrance permits at the JRC Ispra site, workshop meals, and coffee breaks.

Online: participants will need to register; they will receive a Webex link by email the day before the  start of the workshop.

Important dates

  • Paper submissions: from 1 September to 30 September 2023.
  • Acceptance decision: 15 October 2023. Authors of accepted papers need to register by 31 October 2023 to confirm participation.
  • Registration for all participants: from 16 to 31 October 2023.
  • The final programme of the workshop will be posted here on November 10, 2023.

Each author can submit only one paper, in pdf format.

Please submit papers to: ec-cc-me@ec.europa.eu, using the following line in the subject:
"NetciexWorkshop2023"

Each submitted file should be labelled as: “A_B.pdf.” where:

  • A: First Author Family Name
  • B: Second Author Family Name

(Please add more authors using underscore separations (e.g. A_B_C_D) if needed).
