Experienced policymaker and now Senior Post Doctoral Researcher at Maynooth University, Ireland. Researching the creation, mobilisation, exchange and use of research based evidence in the making of public policy.

Currently seconded as a Post Doctoral Researcher at Maynooth University working on a Research Ireland funded project to produce a systematic and dynamic map of knowledge brokering structures and supports in Ireland. An experienced policymaker in education and training. Designated national representative to EU expert groups on qualifications and skills (DG EMPL). Member of UNESCO expert group on world qualifications levels. Contributor to OECD Centre for Educational Research and Innovation (CERI). Hold a PhD in Education from University College Dublin and actively research and publish on the topic of research informed policymaking. https://orcid.org/0000-0001-9027-8214
