The third RESKILL Workshop will take place on 28–29 January 2027 at the European Commission’s Joint Research Centre in Seville, bringing together researchers and policymakers to explore how technological, environmental and economic transformations are reshaping skills, jobs and labour markets in Europe.
The European Commission’s Joint Research Centre (JRC) and the RESKILL research group are pleased to announce the third RESKILL Workshop: Skills, Jobs and Policies for a Resilient and Competitive Europe, taking place on 28–29 January 2027 at JRC-Seville.
The workshop will examine how digitalisation, automation, artificial intelligence and the green transition are transforming the nature of work, firms, skills demand and supply, and the design of labour-market, education and industrial policies.
Contributions are welcome on topics including:
Two presentation formats will be available: paper presentations (20 minutes + 10 minutes Q&A) and Power Talks (8 minutes + 3 minutes Q&A), designed particularly to encourage participation from PhD candidates and early-career researchers.
Authors are invited to submit either a full paper or an extended abstract of approximately 1,500 words by 30 September 2026.

There is no registration fee. Travel and accommodation costs will be covered for participants selected for the Power Talk format.
