This resource aims at strengthening the capacity of West African pastoral stakeholders to respond to crises by focusing on the creation of real-time data collection tools and systems with extensive geographical coverage. The platform contains satellite data on pasture conditions across the Sahel.  It also provides information collected through a system of sentinel sites on state of livestock, the availability of grazing, and water resources, market prices, the presence of animal diseases, bush fires and incidents linked to insecurity.
