To help strengthen science for policy ecosystem, we need to better understand what works well and where there is room for improvement. For this reason, we are running a short survey among professionals working for organisations and institutions involved in science for policy ecosystems.
Why we do this?
The survey is an important tool to gain a systematic understanding of the qualities of science for policy ecosystems across the European Union. It is closely linked to the Science for Policy Ecosystems workshop series "Strengthening and connecting science for policy ecosystems across the EU": the survey data complement the insights gained from the workshops while at the same time helping with the preparation and tailoring of the workshops.
What we exactly do?
The survey contains 20 short statements to agree/disagree with about the qualities of the science for policy ecosystem that cover actors, principles, and processes on the policymaking, research, and knowledge brokerage side of the ecosystems.
The data is completely anonymised and will be used to inform debates in the workshops and JRC reports on science for policy and science advice institutions and processes.
How you can contribute?
We would like to kindly ask you to complete the survey and help us better understand the qualities of the science for policy ecosystem you are most familiar with.
We would like to thank you very much in advance for kindly contributing to this project by completing our survey.
