Brief me
The goal of this project is to build livelihoods and improve resilience to climate change of smallholder farmers of East Africa (Tanzania, Kenya and Ethiopia) and West Africa (Mali, Senegal, Niger and Ghana) through the large-scale adoption of climate-smart technologies and practices.
The primary target group for this project is 400,000 poorer smallholder farmers (particularly women) who face the twin challenge of food insecurity and climate change.
Output 1: Five technological or institutional CSA options that can be scaled up with smallholder farmers in Ethiopia
Output 2: Five technological or institutional options that can be scaled up with value chain actors in West Africa
Output 3: Enhanced climate information services and big data solutions to enhance smallholder production for value chains in West Africa
Output 4: Five best-fit investment options for programs and policies in East and West Africa
