The European Space Agency (ESA) is responsible for developing Europe’s space capability and ensuring that the investments in space continue to benefit the citizens of Europe and the world. ESA develops and operates the Space Component of the Copernicus Program including the Sentinel satellites launch and operation and the management of the Ground Segment.
