This technical note presents the theory of change for gender transformative programming for food security, nutrition and sustainable agriculture. It provides the rationale for development actors and practitioners to adopt a gender transformative approach in interventions aiming to end hunger.
The note provides background information on the logic and key assumptions of the theory of change, as well as examples of how the theory of change was used in two pilot projects in Ecuador and Malawi.
