Six years ago, the Committee on World Food Security (CFS) took the landmark step of approving the Principles for Responsible Investment in Agriculture and Food Systems (CFS RAI). Developed by governments, private sector and civil society organizations through an inclusive, multistakeholder process, the CFS RAI have since become the benchmark on how to design and implement agricultural investments responsibly, so that they can make a signifi cant contribution towards sustainable development.
