The document presents the Council conclusions on stepping up Team Europe’s support to global food security and nutrition, as approved by the Council at its 4070th meeting held on 16 December 2024. The Council recalls its conclusions on the Team Europe response of 2022 based on solidarity, sustainable production, resilience and food systems transformation, facilitated trade and effective multilateralism. In view of the worsening food insecurity worldwide, the Council affirms the need to remain committed to support global food security and nutrition and to reinforce and scale up progress on the four pillars of action.
