Brief me
The objective of the Community Investment in Rural Areas Project is to improve access to sustainable basic infrastructure and services for the most disadvantaged rural communities selected in some of the poorest municipalities of Bolivia. The changes are as follows: (a) financing of about 1,100 additional sub-projects in 870 existing and new communities, including both a first and a second round of subprojects; (b) addition of the Pando Department to the project area; (c) a revised results framework to account for the new targets; and (d) triggering of one additional safeguard policy, projects on international waterways (OP/BP 7.50).
