Domestic food price inflation remains high in low-, middle-, and high-income countries: Domestic food price inflation remains high. Inflation higher than 5% is experienced in 57.1% of low-income countries, 83% of lower-middle-income countries, and 59% of upper-middle-income countries and many experiencing double-digit inflation. In real terms, food price inflation exceeded overall inflation in 77% of the 170 countries.
