The Copernicus Marine Service (CMEMS) provides systematic and authoritative information on the state of the oceans on a global as well as regional level. Implemented by the Mercator Ocean International on behalf of the European Commission, CMEMS products are designed to provide free, state-of-the-art ocean data to serve EU policies and International legal Commitments related to Ocean Governance.
