Mercator Ocean International (MOi) is a non-profit company providing ocean science-based services focused on the conservation and the sustainable use of the oceans, seas and marine resources. The organisation has developed complex ocean simulation systems (numerical models) based on ocean observation data (satellite and in situ).  

Mercator Ocean implements the Copernicus Marine Environment Monitoring Service (CMEMS), as part of the European Earth Observation programme Copernicus. MOi is also in charge together with EUMETSAT, ECMWF and the EEA, of the implementation of the WEkEO DIAS, the Copernicus reference service for environmental data.
