Colin is a Policy Analyst at the Competence Centre for Behavioural Insights of the JRC (Joint Research Centre). He holds a PhD in Economics with a thesis on behavioural economics focusing on biases in political decision making as well as the use of behavioural insights in policy. He has also conducted and published research on other public choice and political economy topics.
Prior to joining the JRC, Colin worked at the Commission’s Directorate-General for Energy, first on energy wholesale markets and later on methane emissions.
