Webinar: “Monitoring the nutrition quality of Europe’s food offer – Insights on gaps and opportunities for food reformulation”

Food reformulation policies for healthier food and beverage products available to consumers are considered among the most cost-effective actions to reduce unhealthy diets.The Food and Beverages Labels Explorer (FABLE), created by the European Commission's Joint Research Centre, hosts harmonised data collected through different EU funded projects, and data is displayed in an interactive and intuitive way for policy makers, researchers, and the public.  

The upcoming Science for Policy report summarises the latest information on the quality of the food offer across Europe, provides the evidence base for setting targets for reformulation and suggests using FABLE as a benchmark for national policies and monitoring efforts. We are pleased to invite you to this webinar for the occasion of the publication of our work.
