Scientific AI Hub

Evidence-based insights on AI, for scientists and policymakers

What we do

The Scientific AI Hub provides independent, evidence-based tools and insights from the European Commission’s Joint Research Centre (JRC), to inform AI use and policies. Our teams support scientists and policymakers by:

  • tracking the development and deployment of AI in science, healthcare, public administration and other sectors;
  • assessing the risks and opportunities associated with AI; and
  • developing studies, reporting methods and best practices around the trustworthy adoption of AI.

The Scientific AI Hub brings together the latest JRC resources across these topics, with the aim of supporting human-centred, ethical and transparent use of AI.
