The Ecotox Explorer is a JRC-developed visualisation tool that helps users understand how freshwater ecotoxicity characterisation factors are derived within the Environmental Footprint method. By providing transparent access to ecotoxicological, physico-chemical, and modelling data, it supports consistent interpretation of toxicity impacts in life cycle assessment and strengthens evidence-based environmental decision-making.
