The list below includes infographics and data visualisations realised by the JRC to show the dimension and impacts of the forest-based sector in the EU.

• TiMBA Charts (2026): The package provides a dashboard allowing the user to explore TiMBA’s ( Timber market Model for policy-Based Analysis ) main results. This includes the development of prices, production, consumption, and trade of forest products as well as forest stock and area development.
• Statistics and related analysis on Forests, forestry and logging by Eurostat provide reliable information on the EU forest sector.
• EU Biomass supply and demand in 2022 (2025): The infographic provides data on the amount of biomass produced and used by primary, secondary, and tertiary sectors within the EU in the year 2022.
• EU Biomass Flows (2022): This diagram is a compilation of harmonised data from the various units contributing to the Biomass project.
• Forest Information System for Europe (FISE) Access the first common database on the state, health and sustainability of Europe’s forests and share information with the forest community.
• FAOStat – Forestry production and trade : This datasets focuses on production, imports and exports of wood products by country from 1961 onwards.
• INForest : Launched in 2021, this platform offers data on forest products, resources, wood energy and much more.
• Wood resource balance sheets for EU Member States (2009-2017 data): These facts sheets are available in the Bioeconomy country dashboard under Biomass by sector.
• Sankey diagrams of woody biomass flows in the European Union (2009-2017 data): These Sankey diagrams visualise the woody biomass flows within the forest-based sector in the European Union.
