Estimated non-healthcare costs of CVD and cancer in European countries

Estimated country-based non-healthcare costs (in thousand €) of CVD (total, IHD and cerebrovascular disease) in the EU in 2015, and cancer in the EU, Iceland, Norway, Switzerland in 2018

CVD = cardiovascular disease; IHD = ischaemic heart disease; na = not assessed. Estimates cannot be directly compared between countries as no adjustment for price differentials has been made.

Non-healthcare costs are in million €  (estimates for productivity losses and informal care).
