A new knowledge management tool to better understand demographic change.
I have more than twenty years of experience in data analysis and IT systems management. I have been working at the JRC since 1988, in different research fields, from neural networks, fisheries enforcement, maritime surveillance to migration and demography.
Currently working at the European Commission's Knowledge Centre on Migration and Demography (KCMD). I coordinate the KCMD Data Portal and lead the Dynamic Data Hub, a centralised repository of harmonised migration and demography data. I also contribute to the Atlas of Migration and the Atlas of Demography projects.
My background studies: Mathematics in the University of Barcelona and Computer Science in the Polytechnic University of Catalonia.
