I am a researcher, R&I project manager, and policy adviser specializing in urban and regional development, with a strong focus on climate adaptation, sustainability, and evidence-based policymaking. I hold a PhD in Urban and Regional Planning and Public Policy, which has provided me with a solid foundation in policy analysis, design, and evaluation, complemented by extensive experience in participatory governance, territorial development, and action-oriented research. My academic path, beginning in engineering and later evolving toward planning and social sciences, has equipped me with robust qualitative and quantitative research skills, applied in co-creation processes supporting the development of local, regional, and EU-level policies and strategies.
Over the past decade, I have collaborated with civil society organizations, local NGOs, and public authorities across Italy, Spain, and South Africa, translating research findings into actionable policy recommendations and facilitating inclusive knowledge exchange. I have organized and led participatory workshops, policy labs, and multi-stakeholder dialogues to bridge academia, industry, policymakers, and citizens. My work in EU-funded R&I projects has further strengthened my skills in consortium building, proposal writing, team coordination, and budgeting across thematic areas including Climate, the New European Bauhaus, Energy, Culture and Inclusive Society, Circular Economy, Food Systems.
