The Netherlands Organisation for applied scientific research (TNO) is an independent research organisation that connects people and knowledge to create innovations that boost the sustainable competitive strength of industry and well-being of society in a sustainable way. ECN part of TNO conducts independent and internationally leading research and stands for an agenda-setting, initiating and supporting role for government, industry and NGOs. ECN part of TNO is working on a broad spectrum of innovation programmes (e.g. solar, wind, biomass, climate change).
