Arab Authority for Agricultural Investment and Development

The Arab Authority for Agricultural Investment and Development (AAAID) is a financial institution with an independent legal entity established in 1976 in Sudan with the vision of achieving food security in the Arab World. The Arab Authority has 21 Arab member states with a contributing capital of about USD 1.1 billion. 

The Arab Authority for Agricultural Investment and Development has accumulated experience in the field of agricultural investment, both in plant production, animal production and related fields. In addition to providing its investors with numerous advantages and privileges in all member countries. The Arab Authority has 50 Projects, whose activities are concentrated in agricultural investment, and in plant, livestock and related agricultural sectors. AAAID also contributes to sustainable agricultural development and improves the lives of thousands of people through income generating projects, scientific research services, technology transfer, revolving loan programs and many developmental activities.

AAAID’s corporate investments in both existing companies and companies under implementation fall under four main sectors; where 47% of these investments is in the agricultural manufacturing sector, 25% is in animal production, 24% is in plant production, and 4% is in the services sector.
