On April 9-10, 2026 leading researchers from around the world will gather in Montpellier (France) to explore the latest advances in biodiversity theory.

This conference is organized by the Biodiversity Theory and Modeling Research Network (GDR TheoMoDive) and is one of the stage of the 2026 “Tour de France” organized by the French Society for Ecology and Evolution (SFE²).

The European Commission’s Knowledge Centre for Biodiversity (KCBD) will give presentation on a methodological framework linking ecological network theory and biodiversity. The conference provides a valuable platform to discuss methodological advances and foster collaboration with an active European research community.
