The Millennium Ecosystem Assessment
The Millennium Ecosystem Assessment assessed the consequences of ecosystem change for human wellbeing. From 2001 to 2005, more than 1360 experts worldwide worked on the MA. Their findings provide a state-of-the-art scientific appraisal of the condition and trends in global ecosystems and their services, as well as the scientific basis for action to conserve and use them sustainably.

European red list of species
The European Red List is a review of the status of European species according to IUCN Regional Red List guidelines. It identifies those species that are threatened with extinction at the European level.
