Expert Group Meeting #1: Transport indicators

Collaborating with the EU Joint Research Centre, and supported by UN-Habitat, DG REGIO works on the monitoring and reporting of the urban dimension of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the New Urban Agenda.

This work contributes to ensuring coherence between the EU action and the Global action on sustainable urban development.

 

For this work, Expert Group Meetings are being organised by UN-HABITAT on various themes. This Group will support quantitative and qualitative inputs to the REGIO monitoring and reporting activities.

The first Expert Group meeting will take place in Brussels, Thursday, June 27. It will focus on transport indicators under SDG monitoring.

Alice SIRAGUSA and Pilar VIZCAINO MARTINEZ will present the work done in the framework of the URBAN2030 project.

Mert KOMPIL and Chris JACOBS-CRISIONI will present the work on Mapping accessibility to services in Europe.

Aris CHRISTODOULOU will present the work on Measuring accessibility and congestion in European cities
